About
Stephanie
The central question that guides me is:
What is the highest expression of my gifts?
As an artist, writer, and lifelong student of human potential, I have spent decades exploring creativity, consciousness, and the process of becoming more fully ourselves.
For more than twenty-five years, I have studied yoga philosophy and contemplative traditions, exploring the nature of awareness, personal transformation, and our relationship to something greater than ourselves. Alongside this path, I have devoted many years to the study and practice of painting through independent study, mentorship, workshops, and formal training, including completion of the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program.
These explorations have shaped both my life and my creative work.
I believe beauty has the power to slow us down, soften us, and reconnect us with what matters most. I also believe creativity offers one of the most direct paths to meaning, connection, and self-discovery.
Again and again, I find myself returning to themes of compassion, forgiveness, awakening, beauty, and the courage to live from an authentic center. These are not merely subjects I explore through my work; they are questions I continue to live.
Through layers of color, texture, and atmosphere, I seek to create paintings that evoke presence, depth, and contemplation. I am less interested in providing answers than in creating spaces where something true can emerge. A painting, a poem, or a moment of reflection can become a doorway back to ourselves.
Today I live in the mountains of North Carolina, where I paint, write, and seek to create work that brings beauty, depth, and presence into the spaces we inhabit.
